Warren G. Harding Document Signed
Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, March 1, 1923. President Harding appoints J. Klahr Huddle of Ohio as "a Consul of Class four of the United States of America." Nicely signed at the conclusion by President Harding and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition. Jerome Klahr Huddle later served as the US Ambassador to Burma from October 1947 to November 1949.
