Water bowl, gilt decoration, Qing dynasty.

Porcelain covered with a sky-blue glaze and borders with gilt appliqué. The main decorative band is made up of flowers and curled leaves. Around the mouth there is another decorative band with lace. The shape is rounded at the bottom and rises to a small circular opening without a neck. It stands on a carved wooden base in a collector's box. On the base is a Daoguang seal "大清道光年制" of six characters. It shows wear.
