Wave Crest Egg Crate Glove Box

Unmarked unsigned Wave Crest glove box. Egg crate pattern / mold. Produced by C.F. Monroe Company of Meriden, CT. American, late 19th - early 20th century. White opal glass with burnt red / orange finish. Hand painted yellow / orange flowers with white highlights. Gilt metal collar and base. Partial liner intact on top of box, not in bottom portion. Good condition. Metal fittings are bright, minor wear / patina.
