Wedgwood Majolica 'Game' Series Plate, Designed by Henry Hope Crealock (British, 1831-91), 1875. Transfer-printed with a view of a woodcock hiding in grasses behind a nest of eggs, the rim glazed in brown and cobalt blue and molded with a border of palmettes within a pierced scalloped edge, the back in striking cobalt blue and green tortoiseshell glaze, impressed "WEDGWOOD" and "AAD." H: 0.75 in., Diam: 9.25 in.
