Constantly on the move, Weegee's car was central to his practice. While the story of developing photographs in a makeshift darkroom in the trunk of his car proved untrue, his floor, backseat, and trunk were employed as storage for his camera, supplies, film, and finished prints. Condition Report: Overall fair condition. Losses to corners, particularly lower left corner. A few tears extending into the image from edges. Scattered hard and soft creases to the image. Some scattered crazing visible under raking light. Sheet is loose; not framed.
