2 Kentucky Coin Silver Mint Julep Cups and 5 silver spoons, 7 items total, all marked J. Werne for Joseph Werne Sr. (1808-1858) and/or Joseph Werne, Jr. (1837-1903), both working in Louisville. Includes 2 cups measuring 3 7/8" and 3 5/8" H, the taller with incuse mark JOE.WERNE COIN 4, the smaller with incuse retailer mark J. WERNE LOUISVILLE KY with additional mark PLK for Peter Krider of Philadelphia. Also includes 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon with fiddle tipt handles with incuse marks J. WERNE COIN with illegible psuedohallmarks; 1 teaspoon with fiddle tipt ends marked KITTS & WERNE, and 1 sterling tablespoon of unknown pattern c. 1870 marked J. WERNE. Combined weight: 13.82 oz troy.
