Greek protome with nicely rendered late archaic features. The veiled female head is showing small almond-shaped eyes, a prominent nose and lips drawn into a slight archaic smile. The finely combed hairdo is topped by a polos-like crown. Size: H. 10. 7 cm, H. with stand 16. 5 cm Material: Terracotta Culture: Western Greek, Archaic Period, around 500 BC Condition: Intact and fine. A small hole for suspension on the front top.
