It lights up. One of the three light sockets is loose. The base appears to be painted spelter. The underside is hollow. The cap on the shade may not be original, though it does fit. The shade is decorated with pink flowers and green leaves; some Cracks are visible. The Lamp measures 24" tall; the shade has a diameter of 18".
