His paintings are often inspired by other cultures, civilisations and impressions from during his travels. In 1984 and 1985 he made a first series of works, called Taffeh paintings. These works are a contemporary interpretation of the ancient world. This series was followed by the sober impressions of Turkey and the colourful Barcelona series. The alienation of man from his environment and cultural heritage was depicted in the subsequent Lakotah Land series. This work is from a private collection. Any damage and unevenness visible in the photos are part of the description.
