Early partly-printed DS, signed “John Jacob Astor pr. Wm. B. Astor,” one page, 10 x 16, October 25, 1831. Uncut sheet of five Mohawk & Hudson Railroad Company stock transfer receipts, with the fourth receipt—transferring all "right, title, and interest in Twenty Five shares in the Capital Stock of the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad Company"—signed at the conclusion by William Backhouse Astor, Sr., on behalf of his father. In fine condition.
