TLS signed “W. McKinley, Jr.,” one page, 8 x 10.75, State of Ohio Executive Department letterhead, February 25, 1893. Letter to Perry VanHorn, in full: "I beg to thank you, and through you the Grand Army Band, for the generous vote of sympathy passed last Monday night. It is needless to say that I am proud of the band, and hope in the future to be able to contribute my mite to its prosperity and success." In fine condition, with light toning along the top edge, and the signature a couple of shades light.
