The rectangular overupholsted seat covered in late 17th century gros and petit point needlework of oak leaves and acorns within a border of flowers on a brown ground, raised on six block- and-ring-turned legs joined by ring-turned stretchers ending in turned feet. Height 19 inches (48 cm), width 53 1/2 inches (1.35), depth 16 1/2 inches (41.9 cm).
