The mission statement on the foundation's website states: "Working first in communities that nurtured the Giants great - Birmingham, New York City & San Francisco - and expanding to wherever the need is greatest, the Foundation invests in fields, equipment, coaching, life-skills education, safety and security, partnering with local organizations to provide comprehensive support to help turn Willie’s vision into lasting impact."
