Winchester Pre 64 Model 70 in 30-06. The barrel measures 24'' with a Redfield adjustable receiver sight and a hooded Winchester front sight. The barrel blue is very good with bright bore. The receiver is a satin finish correct for this period. The stock and checkering are in very good condition but could use a coat of oil to the worn varnish. The is the classic American Big Game rifle in the standard 30-06 cal. Perhaps one of the finest built rifles of the period, built in 1949. Serial # 170960. NICS check required.
