Condition Report:
The round panel is uncradled, stable, and beveled around its edges. The woodgrain of the panel runs diagonally to the painted composition, which reads well beneath a crisp and clear varnish. Inspection under UV reveals some fine, brushy, and cosmetic retouching here and there in the sky, in the direction of the wood grain. Some additional very fine spots of cosmetic retouching scattered only here and there in the sky and the landscape, for example in the sky near the trees at left and right, in the hill near the horseman at right, and in the ice near the standing man in red. The painting is ready to hang. Offered in a wood frame with some decorative elements.
