Second Edition.This edition has the same map as the 1838 first edition, measuring 39x57 cm (15½x22½). Wheat states that the map was the "earliest map of the Oregon interior with a pretense of accuracy." and "represented a real advance, and it was made from personal observations." Condition Report: Cloth lightly faded and worn, chips lost along spine and joints; toning and foxing throughout; very good.
