The photograph of the constellation Cassiopeia “in flight astro (ii) ”, 2010, taken from an airplane, was taken on a moonlit night over the cloud-covered Atlantic. It follows on from the artist's earlier aircraft pictures, such as the well-known Concorde series, as well as star photographs from his youth, as well as later works dealing with astronomy such as “Total Solar Eclipse Grid” and “Venus Transit”.
