Very well executed model of the both Maine Built Clipper Ship Benjamin Packard. A 244 foot square rigged sailing ship launched at the shipyard of Goss, Sawyer and Packard in Bath, Maine. She is named after one of the builders. This vessel is known as a "Downeaster" or "Cape Horner" of the late 19th century. This model is detailed from bow to stern. The cabin work is first rate.
