This clock is wood and the finish on it is dark stained wood with light antiqued age spots. It has a braided edging around the door in the middle with a antiqued gold knob and a antiqued latch lock on the side. The door does open and you can store CD's inside (it has the slots for it). On the bottom of this clock is a pull out drawer with a matching antiqued gold knob and above the knob is an antiqued gold filigree embellishment. This clock also has two handles, one on each side that match the knobs, being antiqued gold and also, four finials on the top of the clock. The top of the clock also has some braided edging around the face. The face of the clock is a collage of antiqued pictures that make one overall picture.
