The overall condition is excellent and we find polychrome traces on the lid and on the inner head of the mummy, which wears a kind of painted hood modelled with bitumen or pitch. The intact body of the mummy is wrapped in very fine cotton strips with a herringbone weave.X-rays show the intact skeleton of the hawk positioned with its wings folded, a characteristic pose of human mummifications.
