Woolf (Virginia) Jacob's Room, first edition, 14pp. advertisements at end, near contemporary ink ownership signature on front free endpaper, very slight browning to endpapers, faint toning to margins, light cracking to gutter at one or two gatherings, but holding firm, original cloth, slightly darkened, as common, more so at spine, rubbing to spine label, slightly affecting text, spine ends and corner tips lightly rubbed, still an excellent example, [Kirkpatrick A6a, Woolmer 26], 8vo, 1922. *** The author's experimental third novel. This was the first of her novels published by the Hogarth Press and marked the point at which Leonard and Virginia Woolf decided to take the Hogarth Press forward as a serious publishing venture.
