Small folio (300 x 245 mm). Lithographed throughout, with a title page, two prefaces, a guide, a table of contents and 42 maps with explanatory texts. (Occasional edge tears and minor staining, some page layers separated, loss of paper to the lower left corner of the title page and the rear flyleaf.) Thread-bound, original blue wrappers with title slip (covers chipped and worn, title slip starting to detach, binding thread loose, bottom part of the rear cover fading).
