W" to Edgar Tafel concerning two projects which Tafel was then supervising. 4to, written on single side of Taliesin stationary, with holograph annotations; light wear, creased at folds, light hand-soiling, small open tear at lower margin.Tafel was Wright's former apprentice and worked with Wright on such important designs as Fallingwater, the Johnson Wax Building, and several "Usonian" houses.

"Dear Edgar: Expect some money from Nesbitt within the next few days and will send some to put where the shoe pinches worst.By "letting the house alone" I meant to do not more than essential -- like the heating, because I am contemplating something radical where the house is concerned.Wish I could borrow money too -- I suppose owing it overtime is much the same thing?I didn't mean to even insinuate that any work you do in the right spirit (even if a mistake) is ever wasted.
