Writing desk, Bombed cylinder desk - Transition - Cuba mahogany - 1775-1790

Transition (Louis XV - Louis XVI) cylinder desk. Convex model, very beautifully veneered in flower mahogany. The pull-out sheet above which is the interior with a blind door and several (hidden) drawers in the middle. Flared legs with gilded bronze sabots and fittings, as well as the drawers with cast and gilded bronze fittings with typical style features. The authentic polish finish has a nurturing and protective wax finishing. Entirely in original condition, restorations possible and in consultation. Dimensions: H= 112 cm. W= 113 / 135 cm.
