18th century | Walnut, burl, maple, and other woods, veneered; partially ebonized. Brass hardware.
Restored. Signs of age and wear. 183 x 139 x 64 cm.
Two-part structure. On volute feet stands a two-drawer writing chest with a writing flap, lined with leather on the inside. On top, resting on volute feet, is a tabernacle-style top section with a central door, framed by six drawers. Behind it are two compartments and four small drawers. Carved edges. Fronts feature star marquetry, thread inlays, and ribbon inlays. Key included.
