It seems to be ebony-plated and takes up the Boulle style with the shapes made of brass finishes all along the desk. Large size, it stands out for its shapes and its general good condition. Once opened we find a paper organizer, useful as well to place the writing tools. Two small inkwell jars as well as one with gold dust for writing.
