Writing slope - Victorian - Brass, Figured Walnut- circa 1880

Here we have a charming writing slope made from figured walnut with brass inlay all around. It’s in great overall shape. It comes with a brass inlay on the centre lid and a brass escutcheon. As you open the box you are greeted with the writing slope section made from black leather with two separate compartments underneath. It comes with a glass ink well and dates back to the Victorian period 1880. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
