註︰一九七九年，畫家赴重慶西南師範學院美術系講學，課餘四出寫生，位於成都之道教名山青城山亦囊括筆下。本幅構圖源自當年寫生稿，屬按該稿寫成寥寥數張彩墨畫之一。畫中寫「五洞天」牌坊一段山梯，乃往天師洞必經之路。右下之牌坊口方正寬重，拐角山亭檐角飛舉，造型各異其趣，皆青城山之標誌建築。坡上密林蔽日，蔥鬱氤氳，敷色對應畫家謂「青城應猶綠」之視覺追求。
