簽書：山河並壽。夫子大人七秩雙壽，受業匡時敬呈。
對題：
〈一〉故宮所藏歷代名畫以元黃子久〈富春山卷〉為第一。缺去起首一節，湖帆宗兄無意得之，延津之合，未識何日。
〈二〉小米雲山卷為番禺葉氏舊藏，筆墨沉鬱，在鄞縣周湘雲家〈瀟湘白雲圖〉之上，此幀擬之。
〈三〉落落長松生夏寒。寫松易巧難拙，此幀從明香光居士取法，僅存形似。
〈四〉巨然真迹衹故宮〈秋山問道圖〉可信，元和顧氏所藏〈海野圖〉尚是摹本。
〈五〉鄉先賢文衡山云：世無北苑真跡，僅家藏〈谿山行旅〉半幅耳。況後此五百年，以意遵之，知難窺籓。
〈六〉此亦倣大痴筆也。大痴畫法，香光、西廬各有勝場。此兩幀皆從香光參入，自喜略得其意。
〈七〉雲林畫法得之巨然為多，嗣其流者，華亭尚書一人而已。
〈八〉簡而不薄，淡而彌厚，元賢神境也，惟麓臺司農能嗣其妙。
〈九〉折帶皴法。倪元鎮所謂荊關遺意。
〈十〉叔明畫法從漚波上窺右丞，曾見〈夏山圖〉、〈青弁隱居圖〉筆意如此。
〈十一〉趙文敏〈夏木垂陰〉為吳湖帆舊藏。華滋渾厚，石田、香光未盡其妙。
〈十二〉此亦倣趙文敏筆也。文敏天資既高，藏唐宋真迹甚富，一點一拂，皆不妄設。湖帆得此珍如球璧，滄桑之後未知尚存世間否。丁未二月，七十四叟吳子深。
題跋：〈葉公超〉子深道丈吳中望族，庋藏書畫不乏名跡。此冊略擬宋元明清諸大家法，筆墨雖簡，風規自遠，展冊拜讀，如對前脩。爰題數語，以誌心儀。戊申人日，葉公超敬題。
〈張大千〉此冊即令華亭復起，未必及之，得者當愛護如頭目腦髓也。大千拜題。
