Got this specimen from Earl Calvert's collection when I sold some things for Esther Calvert." - Rock H. Currier "Los Lamentos" is a term that among mineral collectors immediately conjures up visions of caramel-colored, blocky crystals of Wulfenite on matrix. Surprise! That's exactly what we have here, albeit a significantly better than average example of such visual delights. Crystals from Los Lamentos reach a maximum size of just around an inch, just like this example, and the better ones show bright luster and no damage, and sometimes ... come with a little bit of Descloizite, as this one does. Sooooo ... this is an ideal "Los Lamentos" Wulfenite specimen on a multitude of counts. There is a custom acrylic base.
