This work from the "Signatures" series is a mix between work on paper and acrylic paint. The goal was for the artist to succeed in associating on the same level and by a work of masking and successive varnishes acrylic paint and markers for paper. On the lower part of the panel is the Wxyz lettering. The acrylic background, made in a second time, comes to dress the letters and project them forward. The work was exhibited in 2021 at the Cité Musicale in Metz during the exhibition “Sketch, de l'esquisse au graffiti”. Wxyz grew up artistically in the Graffiti movement and, despite his forays into the abstract or the toy, he still regularly feels the desire to write, to sculpt Letters. Since his beginnings in Graffiti, he likes to call this kind of research "Alphabetical Self-Portraits".
