Beautiful 43m/1.69in gold case with a thorough ornamental floral engraving with vegetation on the external lid. Internal lid is plain. Gold sphere, rubys.
Protecting cover and front opening. Roman numerals.
Mint condition, Working condition comes with windind key.
The Company was founded in 1835 by Alan and Robert Stewart "watch and clock makers" in Glasgow. It lasted 5 years, then Robert continued with his own name R. STEWART. In 1845 Robert moved the company to 25 Argyle St. and in 1850 to 132 Argyle St. where it stayed until the beggining of the XX Century.
