The Canyon Diablo or Diablo Canyon meteorites are several fragments of an asteroid that impacted the Earth 50,000 years ago creating the Meteor crater, also called Barringer, near Diablo Canyon, in Arizona, USA.

The impact was produced by a large asteroid of ferrous composition, giving rise to one of the most spectacular craters known, being the best preserved impact crater in the world, as well as a multitude of metallic pieces scattered in the surroundings. Another important fact is that it is the largest known crater with associated meteorites that have been recovered, something that increases the value and legend of the mythical Canyon Diablo meteorites.
