Condition Report:
Very fine but concentrated craquelure throughout, especially to the sitter's coat. Light surface scratches, and surface dirt also visible throughout, including some more moderate horizontal scratches around the framing edge. There is a small area of loss (approx. 1mm) to the right of the sitter's chin in the background. Some light pitting scattered throughout the paint surface although this is largely confined to the green coat. Unexamined out of glazed frame.
