In a gilt frame, engraved Mary Alsager, died 10th Dec 1822
Condition Report:
Some light discolouration to the blue background. Surface dirt lightly scattered throughout and largely concentrated to the framing edges. The reverse of the ivory sheet with a small patch of glue residue (approx. 3mm). The hair backing with some loss and a large patch of glue residue visible.
The miniature and hair backing have come away from the mount and the lot is in 4 pieces (front and back of mount, hair detail backing, and ivory miniature). Will need re-framing. Condition Report Disclaimer
