In a gilt metal frame with glazed cartouche verso
Condition Report:
Colours are a little down, especially to the sitter's face. There is some light surface dirt throughout, including one or two scattered patches of light, white surface mould which should be easily removed with a soft brush. Otherwise, the work appears to be in good condition commensurate with age. Unexamined out of glazed frame.
The card verso with some surface dirt and undulation. The frame with general wear and tarnish commensurate with age.
