Y A rosewood and parcel gilt overmantel mirror, in Regency style, late 19th century, the rectangular plate flanked by reeded columns with acanthus vases, 77cm high, 182cm wideCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, This was probably the upper section of a dresser or sideboard and been converted to a wall mirror or overmantel, the top sides of the angles is recessed and quite plain and appears to be designed to not be seen, Some elements of mouldings detached and absent from the lot, Some old chips and losses and some scratches and gougesThere are no hanging hooks or brackets, these would need to be sort and fitted by the purchaser, The bevelled plate is probably the original, the backboards do not appear to have been removed, The gilt and painted areas have probably been re-finished recently Condition Report Disclaimer
