The destroyer of Death is standing wide-legged with one leg stretched and one bent leg on a water buffalo lying on a prostrate body on a lotus base. His face has the appearance of a bull with bulging eyes, two horns and a fiery mane enclosed by a skull crown. A third eye is on his forehead. Yamantaka is wielding a sword with skull top in his right hand above the head, the left hand is stretched out to the side with thumb touching the middle finger. His neck is decorated with a garland of severed heads and a snake is coiling around his shoulders. The bottom is sealed with a punctuated double vajra symbol.
