YASUO KUNIYOSHI, (Japan/US, 1889-1953), Lithograph on Paper, NEW ENGLAND LANDSCAPE II, apparently a Printer’s Proof before the edition; 10 inches x 13 ¼ inches (sight as matted), with margins, on sheet 11 ¾ inches x 15 7/8 inches. Signed and dated in pencil YASUO KUNIYOSHI—(19)40 at lower right; (the edition of 35 was printed in 1941). Matted and framed under glass 17 ¼ inches x 20 5/8 inches overall. Condition: Very good, not laid down or glued into the matting. The sheet is fastened to the inside of the mat by four cloth tape strips on the outer edges; a very strong, crisp impression with NO tears, holes or other damage.
