West Turkestan, each c. 19 x 23 cm, about 1900, a pair of matching knee decorations for a wedding camel, in excellent condition, with the original ornamental tassels; theses small, pentagonal weavings, always manufactured in pairs, are documented only among the Yomut and are used (pointing upwards) to decorate the front knees of the camel in the bridal procession.
