Yoroi, 32Ken Suji Kabuto in Yoroi Gold - Gold, Iron black - Samurai - Japan - Edo Period (1600-1868)

Wonderful Samurai armour from the Edo era (1600-1868) . The Kabuto and the Mempo are made of black iron. The Shikoro, the Dou, the Mendare, and the Kote and Suneate parts are in gilded iron. This armour is in good overall condition. There are several marks of wear but no major damages, however the fabrics are more damaged because they are relatively fragile. The Do breastplate is in excellent condition and is absolutely magnificent. Similarly, the Mempo mask is also in very good condition, it nevertheless has minor damage. You can judge for yourself from the various photos provided. This is a very high quality armour from the Edo era. The armour is commanding and exudes a powerful presence. Please appreciate the elegance of this golden armor as well as its remarkable attributes such as its Maedate, its Kabuto or its Dou breastplate which make it a very rare item for the time. The armor is supplied with its Hitsu storage box. It weighs 23. 5 kg, it measures 152 cm in height, 47 cm in width, 45 cm in length and it is accompanied by a display base.
