Wonderful Samurai armour from the Edo era (1600-1868) . The Kabuto, Shikoro, Dou, Mempo, Mendare, Kote, Haidate, Suneate, Dou Kamon and Maetate Kamon are made of iron. The Kusazuri is made of leather and the Maetate is made of copper. This Yoroi has a particularly interesting Mempo and a high quality Kabuto. This armour is in good overall condition. There are several marks of wear but no major damages, however the fabrics are more damaged because they are relatively fragile. The Do cuirass is in excellent condition. The Mempo mask is also in very good condition. You can judge for yourself from the various photos provided. This is a very high quality armour from the Edo era. The armour is commanding and exudes a powerful presence. Written in red on the Hitsu box is the manufacturer's signature and the name of the original owner.
