A bound album of 10 triptychs of woodblock prints from the series Chiyoda no ooku (The Inner Chiyoda Palace), some sheets with embossed details, depicting the hidden world of the shogun's princess and other women serving him in Edo Castle, engaged in a variety of activities and rituals during a full year, seven triptychs with the publisher's seal Fukuda Hatsujiro, dating between Meiji 27-29, all signed Yoshu Chikanobu/Oju Yoshu Chikanobu.
