Southwest Anatolia (Turkey), c. 312 x 160 cm, late 19th century, tribal kilims with unpatterned central field were used as camel blankets, the visible patterned ends would hang on either side of the camel, the present piece is executed in slit technique with very beautiful elibelinde motifs along the end border; used with numerous repairs, fringe damage.
