He's mostly known for his stamp and banknote designs, but produced this limited edition hot air balloon set for the Franklin Mint in 1983, for the bicentennial of manned flight. Each piece is etched in sterling silver on copper and then inlaid with gold. See photos for condition. One etching has mildew damage to the background.Â
