. The last of this brand's rums, Zacapa Royal is a high quality spirit. Made in Guatemala at an altitude of 2300 meters, this rum reaches the heights of Zacapa know-how. This top-of-the-range version of Zacapa rum has a silky and velvety profile where citrus and caramel notes intermingle with elegance. This Zacapa Centenario XO is made from a blend of aged rums aged at least 6 years, with an aging stage in barrels that previously contained French cognac. Zacapa rum 23 is made by means of an aging system called "sistema solera". The principle is simple, rum aged at least 23 years and different profile are assembled, then aged in a succession of barrels.
