Pink jar from the "Organique" series. Year of manufacture: 2019 Jar made of chamotte sandstone and shaped using the coil pottery technique. Addition of a powdered pink engobe on the outside and a chamotte textured dark pink engobe on the inside. Fired at 1,300 degrees. "From the beginning, what nourishes my work is the theme of life. With handmade techniques working on the form, material and colour, I try to give life to this mineral substance, the sandstone. Out of the frozen, hard and cold form, I try to evoke an envelope, a flexible and inhabited skin, an organic matter.
