Zep (Philippe Chapuis) Titeuf, Le Miracle de la Vie #7 Story Page 2 Original Art (Glénat, 1998). "Les Organes" perfectly captures the childhood logic at the heart of Titeuf: a television report on organ donation becomes increasingly alarming as Titeuf and his friends imagine brains, livers, and even feet being transplanted -- before a provocative "I Want Your Sex!" street advertisement supplies the final misunderstanding and a deft piece of double entendre. Each classic Titeuf page forms a complete, self-contained story, making these originals particularly rare on the market. With his unmistakable quiff and instantly recognizable silhouette, Titeuf has become a major image of international comic-book pop culture. This is the first original page from the series ever offered by Heritage Auctions. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 13.75". Whiteout corrections. The original has been folded in the center and displays a 1" tear along the bottom edge. In Very Good condition.
