款識︰〈張〉己丑六月，擬元人趙善長筆似紹杰道兄法教。大千張爰。
〈鄧〉（篆書錄王維〈少年行四首〉其二及杜甫〈承聞河北諸道節度入朝歡喜口號絕句十二首〉其十二）紹杰仁兄屬篆。鄧尔疋。
鈐印︰〈張〉「張爰」。
〈鄧〉「爾雅」。
上款：「紹杰」即近代金石大家曾紹杰（1911-1988），湖南湘鄉人，出身當地望族。他畢業於上海大夏大學會計系。抗戰軍興，隨政府遷蜀，任軍政部兵工署科長，與蜀地文藝界人士過從尤多，篆藝名噪一時。一九五一年渡臺，後獲聘為中國文化學院藝術研究所教授，在臺推動篆刻藝術，貢獻至鉅。
註︰張大千講究用印，去國後不少印章皆倩曾紹杰奏刀。二人往還趨密切者，可溯自政權易手時，兩人覊旅客於濠江，以藝切磋，過從頻仍。本箑寫於一九四九年七月，即大千客澳門近月，將還成都之際，與鄧氏合寫貽曾紹杰。
扇骨兩面刻金石銘文。
