Zhanna Bobrakova is a Russian visual artist. She graduated with MA Photography at Central Saint Martins in 2015. Now she is a lecturer at the Contemporary art course at British high school of art and design.
Zhanna merges contemporary philosophy and art in her practice. She works across the concepts of simulation, replication, and masking. She explores different mediums, such as porcelain, video, and stereo effects through the photographic prism.
Her art series are exhibited in Winzavod Contemporary art center in Moscow, Soho Fluorecent festival London, Kochi-Muzhris Biennale, and Tate Modern. Zhanna's artworks are held in the State Russian Museum collection and many private collections all over the world.
